    Antique coffee pot by French jeweler Victor Saglier (1809-1894), 19th century, France. Silvering. Has a license plate. Victor Saglier was founded in 1842.
    Very good condition. Interesting engraving on the teapot, openwork handle.

    The firm was founded in 1842 by Victor Saglier (1809-1894), a Parisian jeweler and politicianb 1870. In the late 1890s, after the death of his father, sons Eugene (1859-1935) and Andre (Andre) (1862-1948) changed the firm's name to Saglier Freres & Cie. Glass makers for Victor Saglier were DAUM NANCY, Lorrain, LEGRAS MONTJOYE, Emile Galle.
