Preserve audio cassettes by digitizing them to a WAV or MP3 file that can be played on your streaming devices and backed up for security.  This auction for TapedMemories.com is for digitizing a standard or micro audio cassette recording to a digital file (WAV and 320kbs MP3) that will play on your iPad, phone, Windows laptop and other media players.
Why is our service more expensive?  Because we transfer with high end audio equipment and provide audio soundtrack cleaning after your cassette is digitized using the leading software from Sound Forge.  We also include cloud storage for 60 days so you can listen, download and share your digitized cassette file with friends and family.  Cassette tapes degrade after 20-30 years so software enhancement makes a striking difference in the finished sound quality.
Audio transfers are performed near Seattle, WA using McIntosh tube receivers and Denon cassette decks to provide the smooth, warm sound for which tube amps are known.
Audio Cleaning Lab 2
software removes tape hiss, tape deck motor noise, car and train background noise and other noise artifacts from the original recording.  Equalization will be added to match the type of recording so a family history talk will get enhanced speaking voices while a jazz session will be equalized for jazz recordings.
