Quality antique carnival glass centerpiece fruit bowl. high relief fruit pattern pressed into the exterior base. Bowl stands on 4 legs. Sapphire blue glaze has an intense peacock rainbow color flare. The underlying glass is cobalt. Bowl measures 12" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/4". No chips or cracks. Superb piece of carnival glass. My own grandmother had a similar piece, some kind of big punch bowl in blue that was her prized possession kept safely on the upper most shelf of her china cupboard.
