The Roaring 20's The Flapper is a classic ensemble look of the 20's. It includes a bold cocoon style cape that is trimmed with a generous collar of vintage muskrat fur.  The cape itself is made of a stiff silk taffeta that shines of a dual red and black shade.  Its fully lined with a glowing red silk taffeta.  The cape is gathered to attain the cocoon shape. The cape is closed by long strands of jet black bugle beads accented by red Swarovski crystals.The gossamer dress is of double layer of pure silk chiffon in the deepest black.The shoulders of the dress has honeycomb beading and tassels ending with Swarovski crystals.  The dress is fully beaded with tiny black beads in geometric design inspired by the Art Deco look of the age. The dress is entirely beaded front and back.The accompanying jewelry set picks up the red in the cape.  The bracelet has a single Swarovski dangle while the tiny evening bag features a full waterfall of crystals. There are also long shoulder grazing earrings in the bold black and red motif.  The Flapper includes the cape, dress, bracelet, earrings and bag.  It include custom silver shoes with a blue deco stone  and its Gene doll stand.  This outstanding couture ensemble is one of a kind on a Gene doll by Ashton Drake.  The doll  is especially coiffured with a gorgeous platinum blonde hair style of the Roaring 20's.
