SAKURAI STERLING 950 Pill Box Japan

Description

This beautifully etched sterling silver pill box was made in Japan. SAKURAI STERLING 950 is etched into the outer bottom of the pill box. MADE IN JAPAN is etched on the inner bottom of the pill box. It appears that an old Japanese coin is part of the top of the box and another forms the bottom part of the box; however, I am not certain if they are coins. Etchings include two ornate birds, a flower, leaves, and Japanese symbols/writing. The top and bottom of the pill box fit together snugly. The diameter of the pill box is slightly larger than one inch and the height is less than half of an inch. There are some dents and dings. Please see the photographs for all conditions.
