Silver Plated Tea Coffee Service Birmingham Silver Vintage Set Tray Discount -

Description

This is for a lovely vintage Birmingham Silver Co, Silver plated hollowware tea and coffee service set and a Rogers 1883 silverplated footed tray. The pieces are decorated with  beads on the spouts to scrolls and a rope band. There is also ribbing on the lids and the body of the pieces.  This set has highly decorated feet and lid knobs with fruit decorations.
This elegant set is silverplate on Copper. The makers marks, Birmingham Silver Co are on the bottom and these were Crafted in Connecticut, USA.
The outside of the pieces are in wonderful condition with noted wear on the top fruit knob on the sugar bowl top and with wear on the inside of the two larger pieces.
The Birmingham set is for 5 pieces which Include:
1 Tea pot : 11 inches tall x 11 inches wide x 6 inches diameter
1 Coffee Pot: 12 inches tall x 11 inches wide x 6 inches in diameter
1 Waste Pot: 5 inches tall x 5 inches in diameter
1 Creamer : 6.5 inches tall x 6.75 inches wide x 4.25 inches diameter
1 Sugar with lid : 7 inches tall x 7.5 inches wide x 4 inches diameter
Rogers 1883 Footed Tray measures: 26 inches wide (16 inches on the inside) x 14.5 inches deep x 2.5 inches tall at the handles. This is decorated with heavy scrolling and a ribbon style edge.
**This tray is in fair condition with noted silver plate missing on some of the edges - shown in the pictures. The shown use on the inside of the two pieces along with the tray and knob wear I have discounted this set.  I don't believe the issues noted take away from the beauty after all this is an older set!

Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona.  I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.

Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear. Remember vintage items have been used and will have small issues like surface scratches and age appropriate wear. I will show any major issues in my pictures as they are part of the description.
