Here is an antique Gorham Silver plate  " Shell and Gadroon "  pattern 5 piece teapot + coffee pot service set with teapot, coffee pot, waste bowl, creamer and lidded sugar included. They are all shiny bright and they have no monograms. They show expected scattered light surface use and polishing scratching but nothing bothersome at all. There are no dents, cracks, holes or repairs. The silverplating appears in very good shape also. 5 very nice shiny bright pieces ready for use. The coffee pot is marked on base, " anchor symbol in shield / EPNS / GORHAM / Y 1101 / 3 Pint / Superfine/ 11 ". The teapot and other pieces are generally all marked the same but the Y number is changed for each piece. It goes " Y 1101 " for the coffee pot, " Y1102 " for the  teapot, " Y1103 " for the sugar bowl, " Y1104 " for the creamer and " Y1105 " for the open watse bowl. For size comparison,  the Coffee Pot is about 10 1/4 inches wide from spout to handle and stands 9 7/8 inches tall to top of knob. The teapot is about 10 3/4 inches long from spout to handle and stands about 7 3/8 inches tall to top of knob. The lids for the coffee pot and tea pot are hinged. Lid to the sugar bowi is a loose separate piece. There are some small tarnish spots / dots inside base of creamer that should be polished. Overall a very lovely and impressive Gorham service set bound to grace even the finest table. Please see all enlarged photos for the best idea of condition as they are a part of the description.
