Vintage Natural Brown Limpet Seashell with a Hinged Brass Frame Pill Box

Description

This is a pill box or trinket box made with a natural, brown limpet shell that is polished on the outside. It has a hinged, brass frame and a ball clasp.
It is 2" x 2 1/4" x 1.5" high.
These are all outside measurements.  It is in excellent condition.
MOST OF THE ITEMS WE SELL ARE FROM OUR OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION. ALL OF THESE ITEMS HAVE BEEN IN STORAGE FROM 20 TO 50 YEARS. WE ARE NOT EXPERTS ON ALL OF THESE ITEMS, BUT WE DO OUR BEST TO DESCRIBE THEM SINCE THEY BELONGED TO US PERSONALLY.
